I don't know if it's the same way as with Windows, but usually it means you have it set to come up when your computer starts. Try going to the advanced settings, and changing it to not start with the computer. Another is that your computer settings are changed. Go to your control panel, and find the default programs. Change the ones you want to not start with the computer. Hope this helps!
