Photoshop?

i want to learn how to make an image black and white and then make certain colors stand out. help anybody?Photoshop?
What you are asking for is how to do a selective color black and white image. instead of going into detail check out the link belowPhotoshop?
Photoshop is a great package. Try the help screens and playing around with the menus. Try the color balance features in the image menu. Experiment. Always start by selecting your entire image and pressing control j to make a second layer on which you make your changes. You can always then trash that layer to go back to your original. Try making a layer for each of the primary colors only then changeing each to grayscle. Try autocolorbalance. Though I took a course in it, there is still much to the product I'm still learning. Check bookstores for discounted books. It's a package worth spending a little to learn.
if your program is adobe photoshop, i use that often just for fun.

wht you want to do is go to the button IMAGE click on it go to MODE and choose GREY SCALE that makes it blakc and white.

after that switch to RGB COLOR click on it and fill in the places with the color you want.
Use the tutorial wackywall gave you, it is a really good tutorial. It will give you a better look than simply using the gray-scale option mentioned previously.
You need to select the area of the picture that you want to be in color using magic wand or quick mask mode or whichever method of selection you feel works best for you. You then need to go to Select %26gt; Inverse. This will reverse your selection to everything EXCEPT the part you wanted in color. Then go to Image %26gt; Mode %26gt; Grayscale. Now the part you wanted in color should be in color.
