How can I get a free version of photoshop?
Is there any other photo editing software out there you'd recomend? I already use Picassa 2 and Corel Snapfire.Photoshop?
Photoshop Elements often comes bundled with cameras,printers,scanners.If you know anyone who has these bits of kit they may well have several of the old versions.I had Elements 2 and later version 3 before upgrading to the new 6 when I needed RAW converters.The beginners at my local camera club were only too pleased to get a start with an old program before committing a lot of cash for the most recent versions.Corel Paint Shop Pro is a very usable one too, often dismissed as the poor man's photoshop,although it does have a few different tools.Try out your local camera clubs,or friends with digital cameras who don't do their own processing.Photoshop?
